Protein Expression and Purification
ACROVIS offers a full range of protein expression and purification services covering gene expression, vector construction, process optimization, fermentation and protein purification. We use various expression systems, including cell-free, bacterial, yeast, baculovirus/insect cells and mammalian cell systems, which enable us to explore the ideal route to a protein structure. Proteins are purified to an ultra pure crystallographic grade in small to large scales with state-of-the-art chromatographic systems. Additionally we perform functional protein characterizations.
Protein Crystallization
ACROVIS uses crystallization and imaging robotics for high-throughput low volume crystallization. Optimization of crystallization conditions is carried out with a minimum quantity of protein.
Data Collection and Structure Determination
We provide high resolution X-ray diffraction data from target proteins with and without proprietary or custom ligands. If necessary, we have excellent access to synchrotron radiation facilities. Using comprehensive structure determination and analysis software programs, our staff scientists have extensive experience in structure determination and refinement.
